My family’s connection to the Gold Coast and Tweed region goes back generations. My great-grandfather, Jim Miller, helped plant some of the iconic Norfolk Pines that still line Marine Parade in Coolangatta today.
My grandfather, Allan Miller, was instrumental in establishing the first Queensland Nippers at Greenmount Surf Club, creating a legacy of surf lifesaving and community involvement that still lives on.
That deep local history and commitment to giving back is something I carry into my electrical and air conditioning work. Whether I’m helping families at home or working with commercial clients and body corporates, I’m proud to serve the same community that has shaped my family for decades.
How Life in the Ocean Prepared Me for Life on the Tools
Before I started Lee Miller Group, I spent over eight years as a professional kiteboarding coach and volunteer surf guide and lifeguard at Namotu Island in Fiji, one of the most iconic surf destinations in the world.
That experience taught me precision, reliability, and how to stay calm under pressure. These are the same qualities I bring to every electrical and air conditioning job across the Gold Coast and Tweed.
Just like in the ocean, electrical work demands a safety-first mindset and attention to detail. Whether I’m upgrading a switchboard or installing a split system, I show up, do the job properly, and make sure you’re looked after.
